Common Concerns about Direct Primary Care

If you haven’t yet signed up for Action Medicine, Dr. Tremblay’s new Direct Primary Care Practice, here are two common concerns we are hearing about.

1. Why should I pay for direct primary care when I already pay for insurance?

Insurance is not health care. We can provide health care to anyone with any insurance and for anyone without insurance. You can pick a primary care doctor who bills your insurance but it is a crap shoot who you will get. You also may or may not be able to see that doctor when you want if they are too busy. We are providing health care, not health insurance and at a very affordable price. You use your insurance if you need expensive tests or to see specialists.

2. I need a primary care doctor for my insurance, and Dr. Tremblay doesn’t accept insurance anymore.

If you have an HMO that requires one of their primary care Doctors, You only need to see them if you need a referral. You can see me at your convenience (same day or next day visits) for all of your primary care and urgent care needs and I will not bill your insurance and there are no copayments.

If you haven’t signed up yet and want to try Direct Primary Care, come in for a complimentary first treatment! Just call our office at 781-767-0910 to schedule an appointment. Learn more about our new office here.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!
