Covid-19: You’ve got questions, We (may) have answers

Here we are in the 900th day of April, or is it May, (do days still have meaning in this post pandemic world?). We have learned a lot about our new global foe in a short period of time. However, what we are being told on the news seems to be changing every day as new symptoms emerge, or new discoveries made.

Hydroxychloroquine was helpful, then it wasn’t, but now the president is taking it (?).  Symptoms have gone from being very direct: fever, cough, and shortness of breath but now we’re looking at loss of smell and taste along with many other unexpected presentations, including “covid toes”. Kids were considered low risk, now we’re seeing new symptoms emerging. What are the facts? Where are we with this virus?

The short answer is we don’t have all the answers, but we do have a lot of information that we would be happy to share. However, instead of just laying everything out in your standard bullet point format, we would like you, our dear readers, to let us know what is on your mind. What are your questions? Do you have a concern or just a statement that you would like to share? Perhaps you, yourself, have first hand knowledge about Covid and would like to relay your experience.

We will be answering questions over the next week and discussion what concerns you on our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/actionmedicine/?ref=aymt_homepage_panel&eid=ARCepdLvHPSq-Gtoc8tMWQFgNJ3KvWZsdeGB3UbethQNT_46-ilHOLNInzzQ7BsvIB4LpHoJeDuWJuIF

We hope to hear from you and wish you all a safe and healthy weekend.
