If you’ve been reading our blogs, you’ll know that aside from barn building, gardening mishaps,
and the subliminal messages about how an individual’s life could be improved by goat
ownership (ahem, husband), we are pretty passionate about a healthy diet being a way of life.
We’ve touched on keto, low carb, timed eating and fasting in various sorts.
Well, we’ve decided it may be time to put these words in to action. Afterall, we are not “Stasis
Medicine”, we are “Action Medicine”. (I felt the collective preemptive eye roll for that last
sentence, but I’m sticking with it).
What I am getting at, in the most verbose way possible, is that we would like see how many
people are interested in kick starting their metabolism, losing excess weight, and just feeling
What I’m proposing is 12 weeks of dedication. Dr. Tremblay will give a lecture that can be
watched at your convenience on fasting methods. If you’re still on board, we’ll sign you up for a
12 week commitment of meal planning, blood sugar checks, measurements of your cholesterol
before and after, weight monitoring, and information to help keep you motivated. Perhaps,
there could be a support group amongst the Action Medicine Facebook page, but that would
need to be self initiated (we will not disclose your information to others…HIPPA and all. )
