Ziqiang (Susan) Yuan

Born and raised in China for 30 years and living in the U.S. for nearly 25, I’ve experienced both Eastern and Western healthcare through my own life and those around me. These experiences have shaped my belief in whole-body medicine.
The direct primary care model gives doctors the time to truly know their patients and treat them as whole people. At Action Medicine Direct Care, doctors can spend a full hour with each patient—compared to the 5–10 minutes typical in mainstream healthcare settings, where they often have to rush from one patient to the next.
I’m grateful to be working in this new model of primary care and hope more people can learn about it and benefit from it.
I love playing badminton and enjoy outdoor activities like jogging and hiking.
